The organisation has been in the rubber trade for over 32 years. HMCL was established in the year 1987, with the objective to provide technical and marketing services, locate and bring together the supplier and customer. In doing so, synergise  the globalisation process in the Tyre and  Rubber Industry, which is continuing to sweep the industry in India.

Our mission  as  representatives  of  Overseas Manufacturers of  raw materials  is to  provide  World-class service, Technical Support , Time Conscious Speedy and Superlative service to our customers in the Tyre,  Rubber,  Belting  Industries in India and Sri Lanka.

Mr. K.J. Janakar, who is a qualified rubber technologist and has served the Rubber Industry for over four decades, pioneered the organization. Today HMCL with its trading account turnover of more than Rs.40 Crores (US$ 9 Million) is able to use its marketing expertise to bring about a meeting point between suppliers and people of the industry worldwide. HMCL  has its offices located in  Chennai in India and also in Singapore to provide service to the Rubber and  Plastic Industries in India and Sri Lanka .
